This spring has been one of planting trees. Chestnuts, full sized Apples, Honey Locust, and Black Locust - we've been very busy seeding large, long-lived, highly productive trees around the property. Trees that will nourish and shade generations to come.
Recently I came across this video from the Alabama Cooperative Extention about the multitude of benefits that large trees provide for our human habitats.
It particularly focuses on the economic, environmental, and health benefits of trees for those living in urban areas. It was so well presented that I could not help but pass it along!
